WBKN – B92.1 The Boss – broadcasts classic country hits throughout Lincoln County from a 6,000-watt tower in the southern part of the city.
B92.1 – the Boss of Country Music – is Brookhaven’s iconic country music station, playing that “classic” country sound from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s and today. Morning show host Ken Hollingsworth goes live weekdays at 6:00 a.m. and provides listeners with consistent news, weather, sports, obituaries, classified items, local guests and more. In the afternoons, Patrick Porter goes live for drive time. The station covers all of Lincoln County and reaches into Copiah, Franklin, Lawrence and Pike counties. B92.1 is the home of Brookhaven Academy and Ole Miss sports.
