High School football on Southwest Broadcasting for Oct. 8
Honest talk — outside of McComb’s thrilling, no-seconds-on-the-clock victory over South Pike last week, the rest of the slate was blowouts and warm, salty tears. We ought to have some better high school football on the clock this Friday evening, and here’s where we’ll be.
The Southwest Broadcasting Game of the Week will be McComb vs. North Pike at Southwest Mississippi Community College. We’ll be live on WAZA 107.7 and streaming online at wazafm.com starting around 6:45 p.m.
Bowling Green comes to Parklane this week, and this one will be on two stations — Parklane, as always, is on WAKH K106 (105.7) and streaming online at k106.net. Bowling Green’s home is on WFCG The Gospel 107.3.
Sylva-Bay is coming to Brookhaven to take on the Cougars of Brookhaven Academy. The timeless Ken Hollingsworth has the call on B92.1 The Boss and streaming at b92fm.net.
Jefferson County visits the wilds of the Homochitto National Forest to take on Franklin County. The game is on WMJU Magic 104.3 and streaming at magic1043.com. This one is also the Game of the Week on WKJN The Highway 104.9 and streaming at https://rdo.to/WKJN.
