Program to focus on historical relationship between black and Italian communities

A black guy and an Italian guy walk into a bar…

… and become great friends and form a generational relationship in their community.

What were you expecting?

The Lincoln County Historical and Genealogical Society will set your expectations straight this Thursday, March 2, with “Little Italy,” a program focusing on the relationship between blacks and Italians in the 1940s, 1950s and onward. Patricia Williams Tillman of Williams Mortuary will give the presentation.

The show begins at 6:30 p.m. in the Hurst Review offices at 127 South Railroad Ave. Admission to the program is free and refreshments will be served.
