Jason Case taking over at Brookhaven Academy
The worst-kept secret in Brookhaven is now official: Jason Case, the former principal of West Lincoln Attendance Center, is taking over as the new head of school at Brookhaven Academy.
Case, 52, will take over the job at the beginning of the 2016/2017 school year. Interim head of school Tommy Thompson will mentor Case during his transition into the private school setting.
Case ran unsuccessfully for against Mickey Myers for superintendent of the Lincoln County School District in last year’s county elections. West Lincoln Attendance Center enjoyed county-best (probably region-best) test scores and graduation rates during his 15-year tenure there.
