Registration and clinics for A.L. Lott baseball league start today!
Early registration for the Dr. A.L. Lott Youth Baseball Summer Baseball Program in Brookhaven is open, and the week-long baseball clinics for the players starts today from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Everything is going down at the Dr. A.L. Lott Baseball Field next to Mullins School.
If you take advantage of early registration and sign up the kiddos by April 1, it’s only $20. Registration continues through April 11, but it’s $25 after the first. And you don’t want to miss the clinics!
A birth certificate is required to sign up.
On Monday, May 2, we PLAY BALL!
There are plenty of options for your young’uns, as the Lott program has five leagues:
- Tee Ball (ages 4 – 6)
- Coach Pitch/Buddy Ball (ages 7 – 9)
- Little League (ages 9 – 12)
- Pony League (ages 13 – 17)
- Girls’ Softball (ages 10 – 17)
Volunteers for the program are needed, especially coaches. If you have the heart of a volunteer, the league wants to remind you that baseball teaches life lessons, sportsmanship, leadership, teamwork and other life skills, so this is an excellent way for you to help mentor local children.
