No rain: Lincoln County under a burn ban through Oct. 8

The clouds have been dark the last few days, but other than a little shower or two, Lincoln County remains in trapped in a very dry summer.

The Lincoln County Board of Supervisors have extended a burn ban through October 8, when conditions will be reevaluated. Knowingly violating a burn ban can result in a misdemeanor offense and fines of up to $500.
